Martingale System
Doubling your bet after each loss to recover losses.
Full Explanation
The Martingale system is a betting strategy where you double your bet after every loss, then return to your original bet after a win. The theory is that a single win recovers all previous losses plus a profit equal to the original stake. While mathematically sound for infinite bankrolls and no table limits, in practice it's dangerous: a losing streak of 7-10 bets can exceed table limits or exhaust your bankroll. Starting at R50: after 7 losses you'd need R6,400 for the next bet. The Martingale gives the illusion of a winning system but doesn't change the underlying house edge. Most professional gamblers avoid it.
💡 Example
R50 → lose → R100 → lose → R200 → lose → R400 → win → profit R50 but risked R750.
