    Self-Exclusion

Voluntarily banning yourself from gambling for a set period.

    Full Explanation

Self-exclusion is a responsible gambling tool allowing players to voluntarily ban themselves from a casino or all gambling sites for a predetermined period (typically 6 months to 5 years). During exclusion, the casino must close your account, return any balance, remove you from marketing lists, and prevent you from opening new accounts. In South Africa, the National Gambling Board manages the National Register of Excluded Persons. Players can also self-exclude directly with individual casinos. This is an important tool for anyone who feels their gambling is becoming problematic. The SA Responsible Gambling helpline (0800 006 008) can assist.

    💡 Example

Request 12-month self-exclusion — all casino accounts closed, marketing stopped, and re-registration blocked.
