Free Bets South Africa: Best Offers & How They Work

How Free Bets Work

A free bet is a bonus wager credited to your account, typically as a welcome offer for new customers. You place the bet using the free bet token instead of your own funds. If your bet wins, you receive the profit (winnings minus the free bet stake). If it loses, you don't lose any of your own money.

For example, if you use a R1,000 free bet at odds of 3.00 and win, you receive R2,000 in profit (not R3,000 total return). The R1,000 stake is not returned — only the profit portion.
