Crazy Time Live Game Show Review

Game Overview

Crazy Time is Evolution Gaming's flagship live game show and the most popular live casino game in the world. Combining a giant money wheel with four distinct bonus rounds — Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko, and Crazy Time — it delivers entertainment unlike anything else in online gambling. Charismatic live hosts spin the wheel every 30 seconds or so, and a Top Slot multiplier spins before each round, potentially boosting any segment by up to 50x.

The production quality is extraordinary — Evolution's purpose-built studio features augmented reality effects, multiple camera angles, and interactive bonus environments. For SA players, Crazy Time is available at virtually every casino offering Evolution's live dealer suite. The social aspect — hundreds of players reacting simultaneously in chat — adds a communal excitement that traditional casino games simply cannot replicate. With a maximum multiplier of 25,000x, it's both entertaining and capable of delivering life-changing payouts.

The Four Bonus Rounds

• • Coin Flip: The simplest bonus — a coin is flipped between two multiplier values (red and blue). Quick, straightforward, and frequent. Top Slot multipliers can boost either side for surprise payouts.
• • Cash Hunt: A shooting gallery with 108 multipliers hidden behind symbols on a massive screen. Choose your target and reveal your prize. Top Slot multipliers can enhance your chosen position.
• • Pachinko: A physical Pachinko board where a puck drops through pegs, landing on multiplier values at the bottom. A "DOUBLE" slot doubles all values and redrops. Multiple doubles can create massive multipliers.
• • Crazy Time: The headline bonus — a giant virtual wheel in an immersive augmented reality environment with the highest multiplier potential. Three flappers can create wins up to 25,000x. This is where the record-breaking payouts happen.

Top Slot Multiplier

Before each wheel spin, the Top Slot mechanism spins two independent wheels — one showing a bet position and one showing a multiplier (up to 50x). If the Top Slot's position matches the wheel outcome, that segment's payout is multiplied. This means a 10x number segment with a 50x Top Slot multiplier pays 500x. Applied to bonus rounds, Top Slot can turn a modest Cash Hunt win into a four-figure multiplier. The Top Slot alone accounts for a significant portion of Crazy Time's excitement and unpredictability.

Strategy Tips for SA Players

The optimal RTP strategy is to bet on the number segments (1, 2, 5, 10) which offer 96.08% RTP. Bonus round bets have lower RTPs (Crazy Time: 94.41%, Cash Hunt: 95.27%, Pachinko: 94.33%, Coin Flip: 95.70%). However, the bonus rounds offer significantly higher potential payouts. A balanced approach — covering numbers and one or two bonus positions — provides entertainment value while maintaining reasonable expected returns. Set strict session limits as the fast-paced nature makes it easy to lose track of spending.
