Full Explanation
Doubling down in blackjack means doubling your original bet in exchange for receiving exactly one more card. It's one of the most profitable plays when used correctly. Basic strategy recommends doubling on hard 10 or 11 (when the dealer shows a weak card), and sometimes on hard 9, soft 16-18. Doubling at the right time reduces the house edge significantly.
💡 Example
You have 11, dealer shows 6. Double down for R200 more. Draw a 10 → 21! Win R400 total.
