SA Powerball Results 2026
Check the latest South African Powerball and PowerballPlus draw results. Draws take place every Tuesday and Friday evening. Powerball offers the largest jackpots of any South African lottery game.
Powerball is South Africa's premium lottery game, offering jackpots that dwarf the standard SA Lotto. The harder odds (1 in 42 million vs Lotto's 1 in 20 million) mean jackpots roll over more frequently, building to massive prize pools that regularly exceed R100 million. For players who dream big, Powerball is the game to watch.

How Powerball Works
Powerball uses a two-drum system that creates much harder odds than regular Lotto, resulting in bigger jackpots:
- Choose 5 numbers from 1 to 50 (main numbers)
- Choose 1 Powerball number from 1 to 20 (separate drum)
- Match all 6 to win the jackpot (starts at R3 million)
- PowerballPlus is an additional game for R2.50 per board with a separate jackpot
- 9 prize divisions — even matching just the Powerball wins a prize
- Tickets cost R5.00 per board
