Game Overview
Table Mountain Gold by ELK Studios captures Cape Town's iconic landmark with stunning panoramic views and a cable car bonus that ascends to higher multiplier levels. The game presents Table Mountain from various angles throughout gameplay — sunset views from Bloubergstrand, the famous flat summit silhouette, and close-up sandstone textures in the bonus rounds.
ELK Studios' attention to geographic detail is outstanding. The Tablecloth Cloud — the famous orographic cloud formation that cascades over the mountain's edge — is integrated as a gameplay mechanic, and the cable car system that has transported visitors to the summit since 1929 forms the backbone of the bonus round. This is Cape Town brought to life on the reels.
Cable Car Bonus
Trigger the Cable Car bonus with 3 cable car scatter symbols. Players start at the base station with 5x potential. Each level ascended (3 total) increases multiplier potential dramatically: mid-station (15x), upper station (50x), and summit (200x). Ascending requires collecting gold tokens during free spins — each token advances the cable car one position.
The visual journey during the Cable Car bonus is spectacular. Players watch the cable car ascend Table Mountain in real-time, with the Cape Town cityscape shrinking below and the view expanding to reveal the Atlantic seaboard. Reaching the summit at 200x multiplier potential is where the 8,000x maximum win becomes achievable.
Tablecloth Cloud Feature
Randomly triggered in the base game, the famous cloud tablecloth rolls over the reels, converting 4-8 random positions into the same mystery symbol for potential big wins. The animation beautifully replicates the real cloud formation — white mist cascading from the top of the screen and settling on specific reel positions. This feature triggers roughly once every 25 spins and can produce wins of 50x+ when high-value mystery symbols are revealed.

The Cable Car bonus creates genuine ascending tension, the Tablecloth Cloud is visually magical, and the 96.4% RTP is generous for a high-volatility slot. While reaching the summit is rare, the journey is always beautiful. A must-play for any SA slot enthusiast. Rating: 4.0/5.
