Tome of Insanity is Play'n GO's latest entry in the Rich Wilde franchise, taking the beloved explorer into Lovecraftian horror territory. Unlike the classic Book of Dead paylines, this sequel uses a cluster pays system on a 7×7 grid with cascading wins. The Insanity Meter fills with each cascade, unlocking increasingly wild modifiers: growing wilds, symbol transformations, and multiplier bombs.

The tonal shift from Egyptian tombs to cosmic horror is bold and visually stunning. Rich Wilde now navigates eldritch libraries filled with tentacled tomes and otherworldly geometries. Play'n GO's art direction is exceptional — each Insanity level brings visible changes to the environment, from flickering candlelight at Level 1 to reality-bending dimensional tears at Level 5. Insanity Meter System

The Insanity Meter has 5 levels, each adding a new modifier to the cascade sequence. Level 1 adds random wilds to the grid after each cascade. Level 2 introduces symbol destruction, removing random symbols to create new cascades. Level 3 brings multiplier wilds up to 5x. Level 4 adds symbol transformation, converting low-value symbols to premium ones. Level 5 combines all modifiers simultaneously — the screen distorts, reality fractures, and every cascade benefits from wilds, destruction, multipliers, and transformations at once. Reaching Level 5 is rare but delivers wins of 10,000x+.
