    Asian Handicap

Handicap system that eliminates the draw outcome.

    Full Explanation

Asian Handicap is a form of handicap betting originating from Asia that eliminates the draw outcome, offering only two possible results. Half-goal handicaps (0.5, 1.5, 2.5) are straightforward. Quarter-goal handicaps (0.25, 0.75, 1.25) split your stake across two adjacent handicap lines — you can win, lose, half-win, or half-lose. Asian Handicap 0.0 is equivalent to Draw No Bet. This system offers more precise odds and better value than traditional 3-way betting. It's particularly popular in football where draws are common. South African sportsbooks like Betway and 10bet offer extensive Asian Handicap markets.

    💡 Example

Back Chiefs -0.75: Half stake on -0.5, half on -1.0. Win by 1: half-win, half-push. Win by 2+: full win.
