    High Roller (Whale)

A player who wagers very large amounts of money.

    Full Explanation

A high roller, sometimes called a whale, is a casino player who consistently wagers large amounts of money. Online casinos define high rollers differently, but typically they deposit R10,000+ regularly and place individual bets of R500+. High rollers receive premium treatment including: dedicated VIP account managers, higher deposit and withdrawal limits, exclusive bonuses with better terms, faster withdrawals, birthday gifts, and invitations to exclusive events. Some South African casinos have dedicated high roller tables with higher bet limits and special rules. High roller bonuses can reach R100,000+ in welcome packages.

    💡 Example

A high roller deposits R50,000 and receives a personalised 200% match bonus with reduced 15x wagering.
