    Hit Frequency

How often a slot machine produces a winning combination.

    Full Explanation

Hit frequency indicates how often a slot machine will produce any winning combination, expressed as a percentage. A slot with 25% hit frequency will produce a win roughly once every 4 spins. However, hit frequency alone doesn't tell you about the size of those wins — a slot can have high hit frequency but most wins may be smaller than your bet (resulting in a net loss per spin). Hit frequency correlates loosely with volatility: low volatility slots tend to have higher hit frequency, while high volatility slots have lower hit frequency but larger potential payouts. This metric helps players choose games matching their playing style.

    💡 Example

A slot with 30% hit frequency means you'll see a winning combination about once every 3-4 spins.
