Provably Fair

Provably fair is a technology used primarily by crypto casinos that allows players to independently verify that game results were not manipulated. It uses cryptographic hash functions: before each bet, the casino generates a server seed and the player provides a client seed. The combination determines the outcome, and after the bet, both seeds are revealed so the player can verify the result mathematically. This is different from traditional RNG certification — provably fair lets you check EVERY individual bet, not just statistical sampling. While an excellent transparency tool, provably fair doesn't guarantee good odds — the house edge still exists.
