    Jackpot

The largest prize available in a casino game.

    Full Explanation

A jackpot is the maximum prize a game can award. There are several types: Fixed jackpots offer a set amount (e.g., 1,000x bet). Local progressives grow from bets on that specific game at one casino. Network progressives pool bets across multiple casinos, creating multi-million Rand prizes. Some games offer tiered jackpots (Mini, Minor, Major, Grand) with different trigger conditions. Jackpots may be won randomly, through specific symbol combinations, or via bonus features. The odds of winning a progressive jackpot are extremely low (often 1 in millions), but the potential payout is life-changing.

    💡 Example

Mega Moolah's network progressive jackpot has been won at amounts exceeding R300 million.
