    Session Limit

Timer that alerts you after playing for a set duration.

    Full Explanation

A session limit (or reality check) is a responsible gambling tool that alerts you after a predetermined period of continuous play. Common intervals are 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours. When triggered, the alert shows your session duration, total bets placed, and wins/losses. You must acknowledge the alert to continue playing. Some jurisdictions mandate session limits by law. Setting session limits helps prevent the time distortion that commonly occurs during gambling, where hours feel like minutes. Most South African online casinos offer this feature in the responsible gambling section of your account settings.

    💡 Example

Set a 1-hour session limit. After 60 minutes of play, a popup shows: 'Session: 1hr, Bets: R1,200, Net: -R150.'
