    Flat Betting

Betting the same amount on every wager.

    Full Explanation

Flat betting is a bankroll management strategy where you wager the same fixed amount on every bet, regardless of previous results. This contrasts with progressive systems like Martingale where bets change based on wins/losses. Flat betting is considered the safest approach because it prevents the rapid bankroll depletion that can occur with progressive systems during losing streaks. Most professional gamblers recommend flat betting at 1-3% of your total bankroll. While it won't lead to dramatic short-term gains, it maximises your playing time and minimises risk of ruin.

    💡 Example

With a R5,000 bankroll, always bet R50 per hand (1%) regardless of winning or losing streaks.
